The Scholarship Foundation Program recognizes the importance of education and the role it plays in personal, professional and economic fulfillment. The United States Armed Forces: Office of the Second Chief Scholarship provides scholarships to male veterans, past and present, and their lineal descendants to help them attain their educational goals. Scholarships are awarded for coursework from accredited institutions of higher education. Scholarships are based on academic potential, merit, community service, personal statement, and consideration of need.
Amount of Scholarship Award $500.00
Purpose and Application of Funds
The purpose of this scholarship is to financially assist male veterans or their lineal descendants who have exhausted government aid, or who might not otherwise have the financial means to further their education. This scholarship award can be utilized to pay for the required cost of tuition, fees, books, tools, supplies, testing or examination fees, transportation, or other incidental required cost related to the cost of the post-secondary education institution. This scholarship is to be awarded to a male veteran or his lineal descendant who is attending an institution of higher education, technical school, or vocational trade school.
1. Must be an enrolled citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
2. Must be a male veteran or his lineal descendant currently attending an institution of higher education or enrolled as a first-time entering student.
3. Must agree to authorize the Scholarship Foundation Program to publicize the scholarship award if selected.
