Reuben R. & Fannie Mae (Cook) Turner Scholarship

Scholarship Description

“This scholarship is dedicated to the memory of our parents Reuben R. and Fannie Mae Turner. Parents who encouraged us to explore and use our highest gifts as children, to honor the wisdom of our God, to preserve and care for our good earth and the cattle upon it, to till the ground for reward, to help carry the burden for the helpless, the downtrodden and poor, to remember our ancestors and respect our elders, to hold high the longing for knowledge and continuing education, to examine the healing medicine in both nature and men, and to love life wholeheartedly.” The Turner family donates the funds from this scholarship to any student who pursues medicine as their first field of study.
